I installed a "cargo compartment safety grille" in the Volvo today - basically a divider to keep the dogs in the back so that they can't climb into the seating area. While the directions were not as funny or horrific as those that are translated from Chinese into Engrish, they did manage to make me lose a few hairs in frustrations.
"Text at point 3,5 has been changed and illustration at point 0 updated since the last edition"
I know Europe uses commas instead of decimal points in some places, so do they mean 3.5 (which doesn't exist) or steps 3 and 5 have changed? (like it really mattered) And there is no illustration 0 (or step 0). My illustrations start at 2 (completely skipping 1).
Step 4 contains my favorite part (or shall I say "favourite"):
"Press the sprung mounting for the cargo compartment safety grille against the mounting in the left-hand side headlining. Ensure that the right mounting on the cargo compartment safety grille aligns in the right mounting in the mounting in the right-hand side headlining."
The pictures do not help in any way shape or form: I can't tell which way is the front of the car or front of the grille.
I also had to make the assumption that the right side of the car is the driver's side.
And why does everything we assemble seem to require a "Torx screwdriver"?

You mean you do not want the dogs drooling over your shoulder as you drive?
