Checked into Tokyo hotel

The picture below is of the lobby of the Hotel Pacific in Tokyo, across the street from the Shinagawa train station.

10 hrs of flight time, plus 1.5 hrs of train time to get here, on zero sleep. I can't sleep on planes or trains. Two items of interest on the flight: beer is no longer free for economy class, now it is $6 a can; and the flight was about 1/3 full. Never seen it that empty before.

We just had a quick shower and waiting for Keiko's friend to show up and we will head out for dinner. Starving now.

The 3G iPhone is working like a champ (so far).
