Fireworks illegal in Seattle

But no one seems to care or get caught in my neighborhood. I don't want anyone punished this much, but I don't want fireworks every night for so many nights around July 4th.

The possession, manufacture, storage, sale, handling and use of fireworks is prohibited. Fireworks offenses are gross misdemeanors, punishable by up to one year in jail and/or a $5,000 fine.
